Opera Mini Domination

I personally have been using the Opera Mini app for a few days now and I am loving it. Now i wouldn’t be so quick to replace it with the Safari app just yet. It still needs a few tweaks because it can be a little sluggish at some times and not all websites have  full compatibility with it like Safari has. But Opera Mini with time could be an outstanding alternative due to its supper fast loading of websites.

The 1^st must have app for the iPhone 3G is iVideoCamera:

iVideoCamera does exactly what the name says. It allows the iPhone 3G to take short videos then save the video to your phone or upload it to Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Vimero, TwelveSeconds, or email it. It also has a feature where if the phone is connected to a WIFI network it can then be shared on the network with other computers. If the video is save to the iPhones camera roll then it can be easily edited using the iPhone software. Check out pictures below.

• 25 second video was almost 4MB

Everyone knows that the iPhone is missing one major thing, and that’s emoticons. I was getting tired of using the stupied : and ) to make a smiley face, when I could have been using a animated smiley face. Well the Emoji Icon app brings smiley faces to your iPhone and a hell of a lot more. We are talking plants, animals, clothing, cars, sign, flags, poo ( ya that’s right poo) and a lot more. If you do a lot of text messaging to other iPhone users then this is the perfect app for you. Check out the pictures below to see the selection of emoticons.

Here is how to set it up:

To turn OFF/ON the emoji keyboard, go to “Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards > Japanese” and turn OFF/ON “Emoji”.

I don’t know about you but when I listen to the radio sometimes I hear a song that I really like and want to remember it so I can download it formy iPod later. Well the Shazam app will do all the remembering for you. Just by letting the iPhone record a few seconds of the song will allow the Shazam app to recognize it then store the songs information in its Tags section. Then when clicking on the song later it will show the name of the song, album name, label, album art, and date it was tagged. In addition Shazam provides a link to download the song off iTunes, posting the song on Facebook or Twitter, biography of artist, and discography information.  All of this information received by just a small audio clip of a song. This weeks free app is only for Canadians. This is because the Corus radio app allows for streaming of there radio stations, which are located across Canada. They have a total of 52 radio stations that are available, from news to music that available from coast to coast across Canada. The app contains a shake to shuffle feature, so if your tired of a radio station just shake your iPhone and it will go to another stations. This is a great app for any iPhone or touch owner because of its number of stations and great interface. But this app doesnt get a 10/10 for one main reason. If your not over wifi who knows how much data will be transfered over EDGE or 3G. Untill i see it’s a low number it stays at it’s current rating. Download the Corus radio app today for FREE!

WeatherEye is one of the best weather apps available for download on the app store. It makes it really easy to get up-to-date weather information on: Current conditions, Short-term forecasts, Long-term forecasts and the important Warning updates. Several locations can be added, and they are always being updated with the most current information. I highly recommend this app to anyone with a iPhone. You will become a weather guru

With Google Earth going anywhere in the world is possible with just a few taps on the iPhones touch screen. This is probably one of the best apps that can be downloaded. It uses almost all of iPhones technologies and runs fast and smooth. For more information view the video that i attached below. They can explain the features way better then i can.
