Have been waiting for the iPhone 3GS price to drop? Well it looks like you might be in luck for the holiday season. Boy Genius Report today carried rumors of a $99 8GB iPhone 3GS. Citing two sources, the site says Apple and AT&T are mulling over the idea of a $99 iPhone 3GS in an effort to combat the Verizon and Motorola’s DROID.

yeah ok this is a nice gift and all and costs less than my dinky samsung slyde phone but if your a student it stinks. theres still that 50$ basic service plan for most companies so unless your parents are paying for your phone plan or you’re at a high paying job owning an iphone is as much fun as having a black berry in your hand. Yet another money burner in our hands.

Mmm… Iphone so far is like my dream phone. Except I’ve heard the plan’s and such for it are MAD expensive in comparison to most other phones.
well, if the plans for the iphone were better then yea i’d deff get it. but i cant afford to pay out like $70 a month so im going to have to skip this pretty good offer…
