The first Kinect hack for the PS3 has arrived. This guy with the YouTube name shantzg001has posted a video showing the Microsoft Kinect controlling the PlayStation 3. The video has him going through the PS3′s menus by swiping his hands side to side and selecting by moving his hand forward and backwards. This seems to work quite well but once he puts in Killzone 3 it goes downhill, like big time downhill. The gameplay consists of the shooter pointing directly straight up at the ceiling as if he is enjoying the architecture while being slaughtered the Helghast army. At the same time the guy controlling the shooter is moving his arms around as if he is playing a game of hot potato blindfolded. I think the overall conclusion that everyone should get from this video is…. The Kinect belongs on the Xbox and the Move belongs on the PS3. It’s that simple. I can’t wait for the next fail video when someone decides to put the PlayStation Move on the Xbox 360 *sign*.
