So I am doing a post of what I currently think is the best iPhone 4 games. This list is going to cover a wide range of categories and basically what made me to pick them as the best is their ability to keep me playing the game and leave me wanting more. I will provide as much information as I can about each game and provide some screen shots so you can see the graphics and game quality. So here they are, my top picks for best iPhone 4 games.

iPhone 4 Game #1:

Angry Birds ($0.99)

Let’s start with one of the best mobile games of all time and that’s Angry Birds. The game is simple which is one of the reasons why it is very popular. All you have to do is fling your birds and hit the green pigs, but a lot of obstacles stand in your way so there is some strategy involved.  Add in the fact that this game is constantly getting new level updates and that it is optimized for the iPhone 4′s screen and speed make it one of the best games for the iPhone 4 to date.

iPhone 4 Game #2:

Cover Orange ($0.99)

Cover Orange is very similar to Angry Birds in both game play and look wise. But the overall story and premise is actually quite different. The purpose of the game is to use the items that are given to you like blocks, crates, and barrels and place them strategically so that the oranges don’t get hit by acid rain. The game has well over 150 levels that vary in difficulty and the developer is always releasing new ones for free.

iPhone 4 Game #3:

Infinity Blade ($5.99)

There is only one word that can be used to describe Infinity Blade and that is WOW! This game looks amazing and thanks to Epic Games the game is able to show the true power of the iPhone 4. This is the first mobile game powered by Epic’s cutting-edge Unreal Engine 3 technology, Infinity Blade takes handheld gaming to new heights with gorgeous visuals, adrenaline-fueled battles and advanced character progression in a fully 3D castle realm. This is a must buy for iPhone 4 gamers.

iPhone 4 Game #4:

Super Stick Golf ($1.99)

Are you tired of the same old boring golf games on your iPhone? Well Super Stick Golf is a perfect game for you then. It is a quirky 2D golf adventure game that has over 200 different and unique holes to play. Using a variety of different clubs you are able to do things like freeze water, stick your shots on walls and ceilings or even stop your shot in mid-air. The uniquely designed courses really stick out on the iPhone 4′s HD screen.

Plant vs. Zombies has become an all time classic not only on the app store but also on gaming consoles and a wide range of portable devices. iPhone 4 Game #6:

Game Dev Story ($3.99)

Game Dev Story is a very addictive simulation/strategy game for the iPhone 4. It has you creating your own game development company and competing with other developers to make the best games possible to become #1 in rank. There is always something to do as you might be hiring new staff, upgrading your current staff, developing new games, or taking contact jobs. I became addicted to this game right away as it is both fun and challenging to play. The only downside to Game Dev Story is the overall look, you are not able to play in landscape mode and the visuals are not that impressive. But definitely check this game out if you have a chance.
