Could you please tell me which processor you, yourself used?
I went from a T5250 Core 2 Duo to a T5450. It wasn’t much of an upgrade but i just wanted to see if it worked. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Firstly, Great Video. Detailed enough to get the first timers started
Secondly, i have a question in regards to CPU upgrade, I currently have “Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 (1.5GHz/667Mhz FSB, 2M L2 Cache)”. What is the max i capacity i can upgrade too without burning my motherboard.

I don’t know if changing my 200go 7200 HDD to an OCZ Vertex 2 SSD will make a significant improvement. It would cost 315€ (445 $) for a 240go…
Maybe changing completely to a MacBook Air 13″ 2011, but it’s far more expensive and the graphics will remain limited for games like “The Witcher” or “Dragon Age”. I’m torn :[
The RAM will run at 667 MHz, which is the maximum for this Intel chipset (PM965).
The new Core 2 CPUs (P-series and X9100) will not work on the M1530 – they require a new chipset as well. The only Dells currently supporting these CPUs are the new Latitude E-series.
